Our Approach
At The Joyous Classroom, our mission is to provide personalized educational consulting services to schools and education professionals. We believe that student achievement comes from the power of connection and the employment of engagement activities that recognize student differences while promoting communication, higher level thinking and discussion that inspires learning and joy in the classroom. We bring the fun, the research, and the know-how. You just need to bring the desire to learn and grow.
Our Team
Angela Duncan and Brandy Hawthorne bring 60+ years of combined classroom experience working with diverse populations. They both hold their ESL certification and currently teach GT students; however, they serve all students in their classrooms. They know what teachers and schools need because they are right there serving in classrooms too, working to find solutions to some of our most difficult problems in the education system today. They bring a strong passion for what they do and for sharing that with other educators too. in their pursuit for everyone to have a more joyous classroom.
